Okay, so I got curious about the 2024 Connecticut Senate race and decided to do some digging. Here’s how I went about it, just in case you’re interested in following along.

First, I opened up my browser. Gotta start somewhere, right?
Starting Simple
- I typed “CT Senate Race 2024” into the search bar. Plain and simple. I wanted to see what the big search engines would throw at me.
The initial results were… okay. Lots of news articles, some campaign websites, and a few political analysis blogs. It gave me a general overview, but I wanted something more concrete.
Getting More Specific
Next, I tried a few different searches, to refine my search.
- Then I tried “candidates CT senate 2024”. I figured this would narrow it down to the actual people running.
- And I also looked up “fundraising CT senate 2024” because, well, money talks, especially in politics.
This helped a bit! I started seeing some names pop up more consistently, and I was able to get a better sense of who the major players might be. I also found some interesting articles about how much money each candidate had raised, which was pretty eye-opening.
Deeper Research
I spent some time looking at a couple of news sites, just to get different perspectives. I figured it would be good to see how different outlets were covering the race.

So yeah, that’s basically how I went about researching the CT Senate race. It wasn’t rocket science, but I felt like I got a pretty good handle on things just by doing some basic searching and reading. Try it! It’s all pretty interesting.
