After that, I did some more digging. Turns out, there are filmmakers, like Mark Ciardi, who did “The Rookie” and “Secretariat,” and they’re making a movie about this whole story. It’s called “Cody’s Wish,” too. I was like, “No way! This is going to be epic!” They said it’s going to be a real tearjerker, and I believe it.
