Alright, so I wanted to make my desktop look awesome with the Celtics winning their 18th championship. I’m a huge fan, and I figured, what better way to celebrate than with a custom wallpaper? Here’s how I did it.

Finding the Right Image
First, I needed a really good picture. I didn’t want some blurry, low-quality thing.
- I started by browsing some fan pages. Lots of cool shots there, but most were just quick phone pics.
- Then I checked out official NBA photos and some sports news sites. Found some high-resolution stuff, which was a good start.
Getting the Perfect Shot
I found a few that I liked, but they weren’t quite right. One had a great shot of Tatum, but the background was distracting. Another had the whole team celebrating, but it was a bit too busy.
- I finally stumbled upon an image of the team holding the trophy, confetti in the air, perfect lighting. That was the one!
Making it a Wallpaper
So, I downloaded the image. It was pretty big, so I didn’t have to worry about it looking pixelated on my monitor.
-
I simply right-clicked on my Desktop.
-
Then chose “Personalize”.
-
Next I clicked “Background”.
-
I browsed and selected the Banner 18 photo from my downloads!
The Final Result
It looks amazing! Every time I turn on my computer, I see that glorious moment. It’s a constant reminder of the Celtics’ incredible achievement. I am very happy to finish this little project!
