Okay, so I’ve been looking for some new running shoes lately, and I kept seeing Reebok pop up. I used to wear Reeboks way back in the day, like for everyday stuff, but I never really thought of them for serious running. But, hey, I’m always up for trying something new, so I decided to give them a shot. This is how it all went down.

The Hunt Begins
First thing, I hopped online. Checked out a few different websites, read some reviews – you know, the usual. I wasn’t looking for anything super fancy, just something comfortable and reliable. I saw a few models that caught my eye, some of the Floatride ones, and a couple others that looked decent. I made a list of the ones that seemed promising based on what other people were saying.
Hitting the Stores
Next, I figured I’d actually try some on. I’m one of those people who has to feel the shoe on my foot before I commit. Went to a couple of local sporting goods stores. Tried on a few different Reebok models, walked around the store, did some little jogs in place – the whole nine yards. The staff probably thought I was nuts, but whatever.
Honestly, some of them felt pretty good right off the bat! I was surprised. Some were a little stiff, some were too narrow, but a couple of pairs felt like they could actually work. One pair, in particular, the Floatride Energy, felt really comfortable.
Taking Them for a Spin
So, I decided to pull the trigger and bought the Floatride Energy. Figured I’d start with some shorter runs, just to see how they felt. First run was just a couple of miles, and I gotta say, I was impressed. They felt light, cushioned, and didn’t give me any blisters or anything. That’s always a good sign!
Over the next few weeks, I gradually increased my mileage. I even took them on a few longer runs, like 6 or 7 miles. Still holding up great! No weird aches or pains, my feet felt good, and the shoes still felt pretty responsive. It wasn’t like running on clouds, but definitely a comfortable, solid ride.

I used running app recorded all my run data.
The Verdict (So Far)
Look, I’m not saying these are the best running shoes ever made. I’m sure there are other brands and models out there that some people would prefer. But for me, these Reeboks are working out pretty well. And to think I almost count them out!
Here’s the breakdown:
- Comfort: Pretty darn good. No complaints there.
- Support: Seem to be supportive enough for my needs.
- Durability: Only time will tell, but they seem well-made.
- Price: I got the shoe on sale, pretty reasonable.
So, are Reebok running shoes good? Based on my experience so far, I’d say yeah, they definitely can be. Don’t knock ’em till you try ’em! Just like with any shoe, though, it really depends on your individual feet and what you’re looking for. My advice? Try them, you maybe find a new good running shoes!
