Today, I stumbled upon a name, Byeong Hun An, while browsing some golf news. I didn’t know much about him, so I decided to dig a little deeper. I started by looking him up on the PGA TOUR website.

First, I found his official profile. It had all the basic stuff – stats, bio, photos, and videos. It was a good starting point. I learned he’s a professional golfer from South Korea. Okay, nothing too surprising there.
- Checked out his recent performance.
- Noticed he lost his PGA TOUR card and played on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2022.
- That must have been tough.
Then, I read an article about him “hanging on for dear life” during a tournament. It even mentioned he was holding onto his cap! I guess the wind was really strong that day. It sounds like he had a rough time but didn’t give up.
Next, I found another article where Byeong Hun An was talking about how he believes he belongs in the top ranks of the world golf rankings. He played well in a tournament in South Korea, the Genesis Championship. Good for him, playing well in his home country.
Keep Going
It looks like he had a setback in 2022, losing his PGA TOUR card and all. He ended up playing on the Korn Ferry Tour. I can’t imagine how that felt, but it seems like he’s been working hard to get back on track. Hopefully, we’ll see him climbing up the rankings soon. I finished my exploration about him.
