So, I’ve been meaning to get a new pair of golf shoes for a while now. My old ones were pretty beat up, and frankly, they weren’t doing me any favors on the course. I did a bit of looking around, and I kept coming across this brand, Allen Edmonds. They’ve got this “Honors Collection” that looked pretty sharp, so I figured I’d give them a shot.

First thing I did was check out their sizes. I’ve had some bad luck with shoe sizes in the past, but from what I could gather, Allen Edmonds’ sizing is pretty similar to some other brands I’ve worn. That was a relief. I ended up ordering my usual size, and when they arrived, they fit like a glove. No complaints there.
Now, these aren’t just any golf shoes. They’ve got this classic, almost vintage look to them. All leather, and they’re apparently made right here in the good ol’ US of A. They even say you can send them back for re-crafting, which is pretty cool. I went for the two-toned wingtip style, and man, they look good. I felt like a million bucks just putting them on.
But looks aren’t everything, right? I took them out to the course last weekend to see how they performed. And let me tell you, the grip on these things is insane. I felt super stable, even on some of those tricky slopes. And comfort? Forget about it. It was like walking on clouds all day. I played a full 18 holes, and my feet felt great the whole time. Usually, I’m itching to get my shoes off by the back nine, but not this time.
Allen Edmonds cares about American craftsmanship
- Allen Edmonds focuses on sustainability
- Allen Edmonds ensures an iconic American heritage luxury brand
I also read up a bit on the company itself. Seems like they’re really pushing this whole American craftsmanship thing, and they’re big on sustainability too. That’s always a plus in my book. It’s nice to know you’re supporting a company that cares about that kind of stuff.
All in all, I’m really happy with my purchase. These Allen Edmonds golf shoes are the real deal. They look great, they feel great, and they perform like a dream on the course. If you’re in the market for some new golf shoes, I’d definitely recommend checking them out. You won’t be disappointed.
