So, I stumbled upon this “Alex Ferrer” thing today, and figured I’d give it a whirl. I’ve been meaning to mess around with some new tools, and this looked like a decent excuse.

First Steps, Kinda Clueless
First things first, I had to, you know, actually find the thing. Googled it. Found some website, looked official enough, so I downloaded whatever it was they were offering. No idea if it was the right version, or even the right thing, but hey, gotta start somewhere, right?
Installation Shenanigans
Then came the installation. Clicked on the installer, and it started doing its thing. Fingers crossed, I waited. There was a progress bar, which is always a good sign, I guess. It took a bit, but eventually, it said it was done. “Successfully installed,” or something like that. Sweet!
Actually Trying to Use It
Okay, so it’s installed. Now what? I opened it up, and… wow. It’s just a bunch of buttons and menus and options. I felt like I’d walked into the cockpit of a spaceship. Seriously, where do I even start?
I started to click some button and menu. I had no idea it works or not.
Trial and Error (Mostly Error)
- I clicked on some buttons. Stuff happened. No idea what happened, but things definitely changed on the screen.
- I tried to open a file. I think. It asked me for a file type I’d never heard of. Oops.
- I accidentally changed a setting. Now the whole thing is in a language I don’t understand. Great.
Small Victories!
After a bunch of random clicking and messing around, I actually managed to do something. I think. I mean, I got a graph to appear. It didn’t make any sense, but it was a graph! Progress!

Giving Up (For Now)
Honestly, I’m pretty much out of ideas. I’ve spent a couple of hours on this, and I feel like I’ve barely scratched the surface. I need to find some tutorials or something. Or maybe just ask someone who actually knows what they’re doing. Anyway, after a day, I finally got how it worked out.
So, that’s my “Alex Ferrer” adventure for today. Not exactly a resounding success, but hey, I learned… something. Probably. I’ll try again tomorrow, maybe with a bit more of a plan.
