Okay, so today I wanna talk about something I’ve been messing around with – comparing Aaron Judge and Jose Altuve. These two are like, huge names in baseball, right? So I got curious and started digging into their stats to see how they stack up.

First off, I pulled up their career stats. I mean, we’re talking about some serious numbers here. Both of these guys have been killing it in the MLB for years. I mainly looked at their 2017 season, since that was the period mentioned for both.
Then I started comparing their performances, went deep into their regular season numbers – hits, home runs, RBIs, you name it. It was pretty interesting to see how these two stacked up against each other. It’s kinda tough to say who’s “better” since they both bring different things to the table, but it was cool to see how their styles differ.
Next, I went a bit deeper. I decided to look at their stats by day and by week. Yeah, I know, a bit much, but I was really into it. This gave me a better picture of their consistency and how they performed under different circumstances.
I also checked out their awards and honors. Both have racked up quite a few, which isn’t surprising given their talent. It’s always interesting to see how the “official” accolades match up with the raw stats.
What I’ve Got
Here’s what I found out, after all that digging:

- Both Judge and Altuve have some seriously impressive stats, especially in 2017.
- They have different playing styles, which is reflected in their numbers.
- They both have a ton of awards and recognition.
So yeah, that’s basically what I’ve been up to. It was a fun little project, and I learned a lot about these two baseball stars. Hope you guys find this stuff as interesting as I did!
After spending hours buried in numbers and charts, I finally felt like I had a good grasp on things. That’s when it hit me – I should probably share this with others, and this blog is the perfect place to dump all my findings. So, I started writing, trying to make it all sound normal and easy to understand, just like I’m talking to a friend.
In the end, it was a lot of work, but totally worth it. I got to geek out on baseball stats, and hopefully, I’ve put together something that other baseball fans will enjoy too. It’s always a good feeling when you can turn a random interest into something you can share with others, right?
And you know what? After all this, I think I’m gonna go watch some baseball highlights. It’s kinda put me in the mood. Maybe I’ll even dig into some other players’ stats next, who knows? The possibilities are endless!
Anyway, that’s my story for today. I hope you enjoyed this little adventure into the world of baseball stats. Catch you all later!
