Well, let me tell ya, I hear folks talkin’ ’bout this Mackenzie Hughes fella. Sounds like he’s a big shot in that golf game, swingin’ them clubs and all. They say he’s pretty good at it, too. I don’t know much ’bout golf, but I hear it’s a rich man’s game. This Mackenzie, he’s got a whole bunch of them clubs, they call ’em. Different ones for different things, I reckon.
They say he uses some called “Ping”. Sounds like a funny name for a club. He’s got these i210 ones, and some S55 ones. One for when the ball is far, and the other for when it’s close, maybe? Who knows. All I know is, that’s a lot of sticks to be carryin’ around. My old man used to have one stick, and he used it for everything, even whippin’ us kids when we were bad! Haha, them were the days.
Now, I heard on the radio that these golfers, they can only carry so many of these clubs. Somethin’ about a rule. Seems like they can have 14 clubs. Fourteen! What in the tarnation do you need fourteen clubs for? Back in my day, one good stick was all you needed. This Mackenzie fella, he’s got one just for pushin’ the ball in the hole, they call it a “putter.” One whole club just for that! Lordy.
He got some person to carry his bags, a caddie they call them. His name is Julien Trudeau. They say he used to carry for someone else, then someone called Jace Walker, now this Julien fella is back. All these names, it’s hard to keep up! But I guess if you’re important like this Mackenzie Hughes, you need someone to carry all your fancy tools around. It must be nice, having someone do all your heavy lifting, right?
And get this, he uses one of these clubs called a “7-wood“. What in the heck is a 7-wood? I seen lots of wood in my day, but never numbered wood, that’s for sure. Maybe it’s made of some fancy kind of tree. Rich people, I tell ya, they got all kinds of funny ideas. I bet they make this one in a special factory.

Now, the ball he uses, that’s a whole ‘nother story. It’s called a “Titleist Pro V1“. Sounds expensive, don’t it? Probably costs more than my whole darn house! And it’s the only thing he uses that ain’t a “Ping.” He’s got all these Ping clubs, but the ball, that’s gotta be a Titleist Pro V1. These golf folks, they’re particular, ain’t they?
They have something called, Mackenzie Hughes WITB. Don’t know what that means, but it sure sounds important. WITB must mean something about all those clubs he carries. It’s some kind of fancy golf talk I reckon.
I seen a picture of him once, this Mackenzie Hughes. He looks like a nice enough fella. Clean cut and all. Probably never worked a day in his life, ha! Just playin’ that golf game, makin’ all that money. Good for him, I guess. It’s a different world these days. This golf thing is big business, all about Mackenzie Hughes. It’s all they talk about on the TV.
They say he’s got all kinds of these clubs, different sizes and shapes. And he hits that little white ball, and it goes flyin’ through the air. People clap and cheer. It’s a whole spectacle, I tell ya. This Mackenzie Hughes, he’s livin’ the high life, that’s for sure. He must be a real big shot in that golf world. I hope he’s doing something good with all that money.
