Okay, so I’ve been messing around with 7 Days to Die again, and this time I decided to stick with the Navezgane map. I know, I know, everyone says to go random gen, but I wanted to try something different. Plus, I’d heard there were some cool new locations added to Navezgane, so I was curious.

First thing I did was spawn in, obviously. I always start by looking for a decent-sized town. Gotta have those lootable buildings, you know? So, I started wandering, following the roads, trying to get my bearings.
Finding a Base Location
After a bit of exploring, I stumbled upon this little town. It wasn’t the biggest, but it had a good mix of houses, a few stores, and even a gas station. Seemed like a good place to set up a temporary base. I cleared out a two-story house, making sure to smash all the windows and doors on the ground floor – gotta make it harder for those zombies to get in, right?
I spent the first few days looting like crazy. Scavenging for food, water, and any building materials I could find. I managed to craft a few basic tools, like a stone axe and a wooden club. Nothing fancy, but enough to get by.
- Found a bunch of canned food in a grocery store. Score!
- Managed to kill a few chickens for some meat.
- Collected a ton of wood and stone.
Surviving the First Horde Night
Day 7 was approaching fast, and I was starting to get nervous. I reinforced the house as best as I could, boarding up the windows and adding some extra layers of wood to the walls. I even dug a small trench around the base, hoping to slow down the zombies.
When the horde night finally arrived, it was intense! Zombies were coming from everywhere. I fought them off with my club and a few wooden spikes I had placed around the perimeter. It was a close call, but I survived!

So far, so good with Navezgane. It’s definitely been a challenge, but a fun one. I’m still exploring the map, discovering new locations, and trying to stay alive. Who knows what I’ll find next? I’ll need to stock on supplies though!
