Hey everyone, I’ve been digging around trying to figure out when Season 4 of The Finals is gonna drop. Here’s what I found out after doing some digging.
First thing I did was hit up the usual spots, you know, the official channels and some gaming news sites. Saw a bunch of stuff, but it was kinda all over the place.
So I started looking around everywhere. It seems like Season 4 is set to launch on September 26, 2024. That’s what a lot of places are saying, anyway. Some even mentioned it’s going to end on December 12, 2024. A website said it got revealed on September 12 and there was a preview at TwitchCon San Diego on September 20. Sounds like a big deal.
Then I checked out what the developers, Embark Studios, had to say. They confirmed the September 26 date too. They’re an indie game developer and publisher, so they should know what’s up. Looks like they are planning some new stuff for this season, but they didn’t go into details. Sounds exciting, though!
I also found some stuff about changes to the ranking system. It looks like they’re adding Platinum and Diamond ranks to the World Tour, which is pretty cool. And they heard our complaints about how tough it was to get Emerald rank, so they’re making it available from the start and you can get it with Win Points, not just tournament wins. That’s a relief!

Oh, and I found something about a show called “From” that’s supposed to have a Season 4 in 2026 on MGM+. Not sure how that’s related, but it might be a hint about when we can expect more news on The Finals Season 4, seeing how long it took for their other seasons to come out.
What I Think
Based on all this, it seems like we’re definitely getting Season 4 on September 26, 2024. The developers are working on some cool stuff, and they’re listening to our feedback about the ranking system. I’m pretty excited to see what they come up with. What do you guys think?
