It wasn’t all perfect, mind you. I did notice that looking at my digital golf watch or the screen on the golf cart could be a bit weird. Sometimes you get that rainbow effect, or the screen looks dark from certain angles. That’s just a thing with polarized lenses and some LCD screens, I learned. And if it got really overcast, my particular lenses felt a touch too dark, but that’s more about the tint color than the polarization itself, I reckon.
So, yeah, that’s my practical take. I went from a total skeptic who thought any old shades would do, to someone who genuinely won’t play a sunny round without my polarized ones now. They aren’t a magic bullet that’ll lower your handicap by five strokes overnight – if only! But for me, they make the game more comfortable, a bit easier on the eyes, and I genuinely feel they help with visibility.
