Okay, so, I’ve been playing golf for a while, and I noticed something. Most people only wear a glove on one hand, you know, the non-dominant hand. Like, if you’re right-handed, you wear it on your left hand. But I saw this guy, Tommy “Two Gloves” Gainey, and it got me thinking. Why not wear gloves on both hands?

So, I started experimenting. I went to the local sports store and bought another golf glove, one that fits my right hand, since I already had one for my left. The first time I tried it, it felt a little weird, not gonna lie. I was used to having one bare hand, so having both hands covered took some getting used to.
I started with some practice swings at home, just to get a feel for it. Then I headed to the driving range. It was a bit awkward at first, especially with my grip. But I kept at it. I noticed that my grip was actually better. It felt more secure, like I had more control over the club.
- First day: Went to the range, hit about 100 balls. Grip felt secure, but still getting used to the feeling.
- Second day: Another 100 balls. Started noticing my shots were a bit more consistent.
- Third day: Played 9 holes. My score was a little better than usual!
I continued this for a couple of weeks. Honestly, I started seeing improvements in my game. My shots were more accurate, and I felt like I had more power, too. It was like the gloves gave me extra stability or something. I also noticed that my hands were less tired after a round. Usually, my left hand would be a little sore, but with two gloves, both hands felt fine.

After about a month, I was fully converted. I’m now a two-glove golfer. It’s not just about the improved grip and accuracy, though. It’s also about comfort. Especially on hot days, having both hands covered actually helps with the sweat. No more slippery hands!
I know it’s not for everyone. Some people like that feeling of one bare hand on the club. But for me, two gloves are the way to go. If you’re thinking about it, just give it a try. You might be surprised!

It is just like what my dad told me, he introduced this game to me. He always wears two gloves, so I tried it. I think he is right!
