So, I’ve been itching to get my hands on a Goldwing with the DCT. I mean, who wouldn’t want that smooth, automatic shifting, right? After saving up and doing tons of research, I finally found the perfect one – a used 2018 model in that gorgeous candy ardent red.
I contacted the seller, asked a bunch of questions, and everything seemed legit. We agreed on a price, and I was over the moon! I arranged for a bank transfer, which was a bit of a hassle, you know, with all the security checks and whatnot. But hey, better safe than sorry, especially when you’re dealing with a big chunk of change.
Next, I needed to get the bike shipped to me. I found this transport company that specializes in motorcycles, and they seemed pretty reliable. I called them up, got a quote, and booked the service. It was an extra cost, yeah, but totally worth it for peace of mind. They picked up the Goldwing from the seller’s place and kept me updated on the journey. It took a few days, but the anticipation was killing me!
Finally, the day arrived. The delivery truck pulled up in front of my house, and there it was, my beautiful Goldwing DCT! I couldn’t stop grinning. The delivery guy helped me unload it, and I gave it a thorough inspection. Everything looked great, just like in the photos. I signed the delivery papers, thanked the guy, and he was on his way.
I immediately hopped on, started the engine and went for a short ride just around the block. The sound was something else. I couldn’t believe I finally owned this beautiful machine. I started to get used to the DCT, but it is going to take a little practice. But man, that first ride was amazing. I couldn’t wait to take it out on the open road. I went around the block again and again!
Since then, I’ve been riding it every chance I get. It’s been an absolute dream. This bike is everything I hoped for and more. I spent many weekends in the garage checking everything out and installing some accessories I bought. That’s it. I’m super happy with my purchase, and I can’t wait to take it on some long road trips.
