Today, I wanted to talk about something I’ve been trying out lately – this thing called “rillary”. I’m not gonna lie, it’s been a bit of a journey, but a good one! So, let me tell you all about it from the beginning.

So, it all started when I was scrolling through some random stuff online, trying to find ways to get a bit fitter, you know? I stumbled upon the idea of using my own body weight for exercise. It sounded pretty simple, and I thought, “Why not give it a shot?”

I started with some basic stuff, like push-ups and squats. At first, it was tough, I’m not gonna sugarcoat it. My arms were shaking, my legs were burning, but I kept at it. I figured, even if I could only do a few, it was better than nothing.

  • I started with push-ups against the wall, then moved to doing them on my knees.
  • Squats were a little easier, but I still felt it the next day!
  • I even tried some planks, which were brutal, but I felt so strong holding them.

Slowly but surely, I started to see some changes. I could do more reps, I felt stronger, and I even started to see some muscle definition. It was pretty cool to see my body changing just from using its own weight.

Then, I decided to up the ante a bit. I found a sturdy door frame and started trying pull-ups. Let me tell you, those are a whole different level! I could barely do one at first, but I kept practicing. I’d jump up, hold myself there as long as I could, and slowly lower myself down.

It took a while, but eventually, I managed to do a few proper pull-ups! I felt like a total badass, I’m not gonna lie. It’s amazing what your body can do when you push it.

And the best part? I started feeling better overall. More energy, better mood, just generally feeling good. I even started reading more, which I heard is good for the brain. It’s like this whole healthy lifestyle thing just clicked for me.

It wasn’t always easy. There were days when I didn’t feel like doing anything, days when I felt like giving up. But I kept reminding myself why I started, and that kept me going.

So yeah, that’s my “rillary” journey so far. It’s been tough, it’s been rewarding, and it’s definitely something I’m going to keep doing. I realized that it is really helpful to me. If you’re looking for a way to get fitter and feel better, I definitely recommend giving it a try. You might surprise yourself with what you can achieve!

My takeaway?

Our bodies are capable of amazing things. We just need to give it a good try. And I did it!
