Okay, so here’s something I spent a bit of time on recently. Someone brought up Dylan Moore and his appearance on Blue Bloods. I kinda remembered the actor’s face, you know, but couldn’t picture him in that show specifically. My brain just wasn’t connecting the dots.

Naturally, I got curious. Had to figure it out. It bugs me when I can’t place something like that.
My Little Search Mission
So, the first thing I did was the obvious: hopped online and searched for ‘dylan moore blue bloods’. You know how it is, you get a mix of stuff. Some fan pages, actor profile sites, gossip bits. It was a bit all over the place, honestly. Some sites confirmed it, others were kinda vague or didn’t list him prominently, which made me wonder if it was even true.
This scattergun approach wasn’t really cutting it. I needed something more solid. So, I thought, okay, let’s try checking some proper TV show databases or detailed episode guides. Those usually list guest stars pretty reliably.
I started digging through season episode lists for Blue Bloods. Took a little while, clicking through the seasons, scanning the guest cast lists. Since he wasn’t a regular, you really have to look.
And then, bingo! Found it. It wasn’t a huge recurring role or anything, which totally explained why it didn’t stick in my memory.

Turns out, Dylan Moore appeared in one episode. It was Season 4, Episode 5. The episode title was ‘My Brother’s Keeper’. He played a character named Seymour Driscoll. Just that single appearance.
So yeah, that was my little project. Tracked down the info. It’s funny how these procedural shows have so many familiar faces pop up for just one episode. Anyway, mission accomplished. Curiosity satisfied. Felt good to finally pin that down.
