So, I was browsing the internet the other day, and I stumbled upon this guy named Ramon de Jesus. What caught my eye was that he’s tied to all these beginner guides for different kinds of art. Naturally, I got curious. I mean, who is this guy, and why is he the go-to for art newbies?
First, I did a basic search about who he is. Found out he’s a Dominican baseball umpire. Okay, interesting, but that’s not what I was looking for. I wanted to know about his connection to these art books.
So I started digging into these books. I saw titles like “Oil Painting for Beginners” and “Pastels for Beginners”. They’re all credited to Ramon de Jesus Rodriguez. Now, I figured, this must be the same guy. Maybe he’s got a passion for art alongside baseball?

I haven’t bought any of the books yet, but I’m seriously thinking about it. It seems like Ramon de Jesus, or at least someone using his name, has created a whole series of art guides. These books were easy to find. I could grab one and give it a shot.
