Okay, so I’ve been digging into the Orioles’ season, specifically looking at games where they clinched a win. I wanted to see how many times they pulled it off, you know, really dominated. I wanted to get to that “20 game winners” mark.
First, I started by scouring through game logs. This was a bit of a pain, to be honest. Lots of scrolling and clicking.
My Process
- Started with the official MLB site. Seemed like the most obvious place to go.
- Filtered by Orioles games. Easy enough, there’s usually a team filter on these sites.
- Then I started looking at the final scores. Manually, one by one. Yeah, it was tedious.
- Counted Wins.
I initially went through the entire season, marking down each win. But then I realized I needed to be more specific – I was after those big wins, the ones that showed real dominance, and to find 20 game winners.
After the manual slog,I was able to see the list of * was a grind, but I got the data I needed!
