So I’ve been seeing Mike Piazza pop up in baseball discussions lately, and suddenly wondered – is he still with his wife? You know how it is, you see an old highlight, then boom, rabbit hole time. Grabbed my laptop and just dove in cold.

Starting With Google Like Always
Typed “Mike Piazza wife” straight into Google. Pages and pages of stuff came up. Big mistake. Clicked a tabloid link about them splitting, freaked out for a sec, then realized that article was ancient – like ten years old. Felt silly. Always gotta check dates! Scrolled way down trying to find something recent.
Digging Through Social Media Gravel
Head hurts. Needed facts, not gossip. Hit up Instagram instead. Found his profile – totally private. No luck there. Remembered his wife, Alicia Rickter? Found hers. Also private. Scrolled through some tagged photos though. Saw a picture of them both smiling at some charity dinner a few months back. Okay, warm lead. Didn’t look like split vibes at all.
The Wiki Check and Beyond
Slammed “Mike Piazza wiki” back into Google. Found their marriage page – said married in 2005. Stale info. Wikipedia edits don’t mean squat sometimes. Needed harder proof. Went deeper, clicked forums. Saw old fans arguing about him on a baseball message board. Someone mentioned seeing him and Alicia buying groceries together last year. Chatty post, felt real. Noticed she still uses his last name professionally. Another tiny clue they’re likely still together.
Putting It Together
Ran out of places to dig. Sat back thinking. Signs all point to yes:
- No credible news about a split anywhere last five years
- Spotted together publicly semi-recently via that event photo
- Both keep socials locked down but haven’t scrubbed each other
- Name unchanged on her stuff
- Random fan sightings add up
Kinda wild how much work it takes to confirm “yep, probably still married.” But yeah, best I can tell, Alicia and Mike are still going strong. Married life away from cameras looks peaceful for them. Done digging.
