Okay, so, today I was digging into the Detroit Lions ’cause, you know, football season’s in full swing, and I got curious about their injuries. And man, it’s a bit of a mess.

First, I started by checking out the latest news. Just wanted a quick look to see who’s hurt and who’s not. Found a few articles talking about how the Lions are resting up ’cause they nailed the top seed in the NFC. Lucky them, right? But it also means they’ve got a bunch of guys needing that rest. Sounds like a good strategy.
Who’s Hurt?
Then, I dug a bit deeper. One name that popped up was Rakestraw. Apparently, he’s been out with a hamstring injury since like, Week 12. Ouch. Hamstrings are nasty. He even missed some games earlier. It seems like he’s had a rough season.
I found their official injury report next, and wow, it’s long. They’ve got nearly two dozen players on injured reserve! That’s a lot of guys on the bench. I really started to understand why that rest is so important.
More Names
So, I kept digging. Found out about Terrion Arnold, a rookie cornerback. Also, I looked into David Montgomery, who had a knee injury. Initially, they thought he’d be out for the season, but after some second opinions, it seems like he might be back. That’s some good news for them, I guess.
Keeping Track
Trying to keep all this straight was a headache. They have so many injuries! I decided to make a list of the players, their injuries, and when they got hurt. It helped, but it was still a lot to process.

Finally, I organized my notes. Put everything into a simple table. Made it easier to see the big picture. The Lions have a lot of players dealing with injuries. Hopefully, they can use this break to heal up.
- Rakestraw – hamstring, since Week 12
- Terrion Arnold – rookie cornerback
- David Montgomery – knee, but might return
- …and like, a dozen more.
That’s about it. It was a bit of work, but now I have a better idea of what’s going on with the Lions’ injuries. Fingers crossed they get healthy soon!
