Okay, so hear me out. Last week, I was scrolling around online, right? Totally fell down this rabbit hole watching these insane trick shots and clips. Mind-blowing stuff. Kept seeing this name pop up: Paxson Wojcik. Seriously impressed.

So obviously, I figured, “Yo, gotta see more of this dude!” Easy, just go find his page and hit that follow button. Or so I thought…
First thing I did? I punched “Paxson Wojcik” straight into The Blue App. You know the one. Scrolled, scrolled… nada. Seriously frustrating. Couple of similar names, sure, but definitely not the guy with the handles I just saw. Zero luck there.
Alright, Plan B. Jumped over to The Bird App. Searched him again. Flicked through profile after profile. Found maybe one that might have been him, dead quiet, last update like forever ago. Looked like the wrong Paxson Wojcik honestly. Another swing and a miss.
Now I’m getting kinda annoyed. This dude’s putting out wild content, but where’s he hiding? Decided to try the place for longer stuff. You know, the video giant. Searched his full name again. Whole bunch of highlight videos came up, tons actually, clips shared by other people. But an actual channel? One with his name and current videos? Couldn’t find it. Zilch.
Started thinking maybe he’s operating under some cool nickname or something. Clicked around on some of the recent highlight videos he was tagged in. Checked the descriptions, any links… nothing. Just usernames of the people who posted the clip. Still chasing ghosts.

Got desperate. Started adding “basketball”, “baller”, all sorts of obvious stuff to the searches. Scrolled through page after page. More clips, sure, but no trace of his main spot online to see his own stuff fresh.
Then, kicking myself later, I remembered the one place I hadn’t properly checked. The place where teams actually announce stuff and players sometimes pop up. Went searching for his university team’s official stuff. Found it pretty quick. And boom, finally, right there, they tagged his actual, proper, verified handle on their roster announcement. It was like finding a cheat code.
So here’s what I figured out the hard way:
- Don’t trust just the obvious big apps. He wasn’t popping up easily on any of the regular social feeds I hit first.
- Current Team Pages are golden. Turns out the most reliable, up-to-date handle was plastered right on his university’s official sports page. That roster listing is no joke.
- Patience is a thing. Took a dumb amount of digging past highlights to find the source. Felt silly afterward.
Lesson learned? When a hot new player blows up, skip the wild goose chase through all the social apps straight away. Your best bet is almost always gonna be his real-life team’s official site or their league’s official page. They list that stuff, usually verified and current. Just gotta look in the place they actually put it.
