Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this Brazilian MMA fighter, Gabriel Miranda. Let me tell you, this guy is something else. I first noticed him when I was browsing through some UFC fight cards, and his name just popped up. I did a little digging, and man, was I in for a ride.

First, I tried to get a feel for his recent fights. Apparently, he was supposed to be in this UFC Vegas 89 bout back in March against Billy Quarantillo, but he pulled out. Bummer, right? I was kinda looking forward to seeing him in action. But, hey, these things happen in the fight game.
Then, I started looking at some of his past fights. I stumbled upon some photos from his victory over Shane Young at UFC 293. Man, the intensity in those pictures! You could see the determination in his eyes. It was like, “I’m here to win, and nothing’s gonna stop me.” I had to look into it.
- Watched the fight with Shane Young.
- Paused a couple of times to really see his technique.
- Replayed some of the key moments. This guy’s got some slick moves.
After that, I went down a bit of a rabbit hole. I found out he had a fight against Charriere at Accor Arena, a featherweight contest on the main card of UFC Paris. I watched that one too. It was a tough fight, but Miranda held his own. I’ll be real with you, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time.
And get this, there were even more pictures, this time from Benoit Saint-Denis’ fight against Miranda at UFC Fight Night 209. The atmosphere in those photos was electric. You could almost feel the energy of the crowd just by looking at them.
- Checked out the photos from the Saint-Denis fight.
- Zoomed in on Miranda’s face. This guy’s a warrior.
- Saved a couple of the best shots. Might use them as a wallpaper or something.
The Topuria Connection
But here’s where it gets really interesting. I found this interview where Miranda mentioned he was supposed to fight Ilia Topuria in BRAVE CF. Topuria, man, that guy’s a beast! And Miranda said he’s sure they’ll fight eventually. Can you imagine that matchup? I’d pay good money to see that.
So yeah, that’s my deep dive into Gabriel Miranda. From pulling out of fights to epic battles in the octagon, and even a potential showdown with Topuria, this guy’s journey is wild. I’m definitely keeping an eye on him. Who knows what he’ll do next? But one thing’s for sure, I’m here for it.
