Found some interesting stuff, like a bunch of websites that supposedly help you learn anything from art to business. Seemed cool, but I needed something a little more specific, right?
Then I stumbled upon these tips for improving your learning. Stuff like finding a good reason to learn, paying attention, you know, the basics. It was a good reminder, but I wanted to dive deeper. That’s when I started thinking about video games, specifically this game called NieR:Automata. Great game, by the way. Awesome story, cool characters, and it got me thinking about how we learn through games.
In the game, you play as these androids, 2B and 9S. Now, I’d heard some folks online saying 2B and 9S were a couple, and apparently, the creator confirmed it a while back. I always thought 2B was a cool character, and playing as her gave me a whole new perspective on the story. I also like her look, you know, the blindfold and all. I remember reading somewhere that it symbolizes her limited view of the war, which I thought was a neat detail. Plus, that executioner reveal near the end? Mind blown!
Anyway, so I started playing the game again, paying closer attention to how I was learning. I was picking up on the story details, getting better at the combat, and really just soaking it all in. It made me realize that learning can be fun, even when it’s challenging.
So, what did I ultimately learn from all this? Well, a few things:
- First, it’s never too late to learn something new, even if it takes a bit more effort than it used to.

It wasn’t the most straightforward learning experience, but it was definitely memorable. And hey, I ended up getting a pretty good handle on the game, which is a nice bonus.
