Okay, so I was trying to figure out what’s up with the Denver Nuggets, you know, the basketball team. I wanted to know who was hurt and all that jazz. So, I started digging around, trying to piece things together.
First, I hit up the usual spots for sports news. You know, those big-name websites that cover everything. I saw some stuff about Nikola Jokic, who I guess is a big deal for the Nuggets. He’s their center, or something. And there was something about ESPN BET Sportsbook, whatever that is.
Then I found out that the Nuggets are part of the NBA, in the Northwest Division of the Western Conference. I didn’t know that before, but I figured it out. I saw that Denver put out an injury report for their game against Cleveland. That was on a Friday, I think. And get this, they were 4-3, which I guess isn’t great? I don’t really follow basketball that closely. But I saw that this report was recent.
There was also something about the Golden State Warriors playing the Nuggets in Colorado. This was on a Tuesday, so a different game, I guess. And the injury report was a big deal for this game too.
The Starting Five Situation
Then things got a little weird. I found this thing that said the Nuggets’ starting five might only be able to walk during their game in Memphis. That sounds bad, right? All five of the regular starters were listed as “questionable” to play against the Grizzlies. That’s a team, I’m pretty sure. What does it mean when you’re questionable, you can’t run fast or something? It all seemed a little confusing.

Finally, I stumbled upon a full list of injuries for the Nuggets for the whole 2023 season. It had the players’ names, what position they play, and what their injury was. That was helpful, but I don’t really know who most of these players are.
So, here’s what I gathered:

I still don’t really know what I’m talking about when it comes to basketball, but at least now I know a little more about the Denver Nuggets and their injury situation. I guess their starting players are not in a good condition for now.
