Heard about Darius Robinson’s pro day
So yeah, saw online that Darius Robinson was doing his pro day workout today. Big deal for the guy trying to get into the NFL, right? Figured I gotta see what the fuss is about, especially after all that buzz from his college games. Grabbed my laptop, flipped it open right there at the kitchen table while my coffee was cooling down.

The numbers started rolling in
First thing that popped up was his measurements. Dude is big, no surprise. Then the real juicy stuff hit – the workout numbers. My eyes practically jumped trying to take it all in:
- Forty-yard dash: Broke out a crazy fast time. Faster than I thought he’d manage at his size, seriously.
- Bench press: Man, he banged out reps like it was nothing. That arm strength is unreal. Solid, solid showing.
- Vertical jump: Hopped higher than I expected. Good explosion off the ground.
- Broad jump: Showed off how far he could jump from standing still. Pretty dang impressive for a big fella.
Kept refreshing the feed, waiting for the positional drills. Wanted to see if he moved smooth, not just strong. When the videos finally loaded? Dayum. He looked agile doing those cone drills, changed direction better than I figured, hands were solid catching passes – honestly looked like a total package working out there.
Honest reaction kicking in
Saw all those numbers flashing by and my first thought was “Whoa, Robinson just pushed his stock way up.” Like, seriously boosted himself with that performance. No wonder teams are probably scrambling right now looking at his results. Makes you think hard about where he might land in the draft after showing out like that. Crazy how one day on the field can flip the script.
