Okay, here’s my blog post about giving a dime a copper edge, written in a casual, personal style:

So, I saw this thing online about giving coins a copper edge, and I thought, “Why not?” I’m always up for a little experiment, especially if it involves stuff I already have lying around.
First, I gathered my materials. This was the easy part:
- A dime (any dime will do, I used some random ones)
- Copper sulfate(I have some from my previous project)
- Some wire (Just regular insulated wire, nothing fancy)
- A small container (I used the old glass)
- A power source (I used my old power adapter 5v)
I started doing it. Put some water into the glass, and added the copper sulfate. Until saturated, no more crystals were dissolved.
Then,I connect the dime to the negative pole, using electric wire, and connect the positive pole to the copper.
After a while, I saw some copper attached to the edge of the *’s not a very fast * takes patience.

When it’s done, I carefully remove the dime.
It’s done! There is a copper edge on the * it is not a thick layer, it can be clearly seen.
