Alright, so I saw this thing online about Joe Burrow’s rating in Madden 24, and I just had to check it out. I mean, the guy’s been killing it on the field, so I figured his Madden rating would be pretty solid, right?
First thing I did was fire up my console and check the release date of Madden 24. Turns out, it came out on August 18, 2023. I jumped right into the game to see what all the fuss was about. I went straight to the player ratings, found Joe Burrow, and bam! There it was – a 95 overall rating. Not too shabby, huh? I mean, it’s not a 99, but come on, 95 is pretty darn good. Apparently, he was at a 90 last year, so that’s a nice little bump up. It seems he jumped from fifth to second place. It is pretty cool.
So, for those who are not into Madden, let me explain real quick. These ratings, they go from 0 to 100, and they basically tell you how good a player is at different skills. So a higher rating means the player’s better at that specific thing.
I also noticed that only five players got that super rare 99 rating in Madden 24 at launch. We’re talking about Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Zach Martin… those guys are like the gods of Madden, apparently. Joe Burrow did not get into the 99 Club, but he did get Madden ratings at 99. I do not know how it works.
Then I stumbled upon something even crazier. Apparently, they’ve given out ratings higher than 100 before! Like, way higher. Back in Madden 1998, they went wild with the ratings. It is really insane.
Anyway, I just wanted to share my little Madden adventure with you guys. Seeing Joe Burrow’s rating and all that got me pretty hyped for the game. I might just have to start playing more often now!
