Okay, so I wanted to get into this whole “yuji manga panel” thing. I’d seen some pretty cool artwork online and thought, “Why not give it a shot?” I’m no artist, but I figured it couldn’t be that hard, right?

Getting Started
First, I needed a picture of Yuji. I just did a quick image search and found a bunch of manga panels. I picked one that I liked – a close-up of his face with a determined expression. I saved that image to my computer.
The Process
I decided to keep things simple. I opened up the image on my phone using photo edit app. I figured I could use built-in feature.
- Cropping: I cropped the image to focus on just the panel I wanted, makes it look cleaner.
- Adjusting Brightness and Contrast: Next, I played around with the brightness and contrast. I wanted to make the lines pop a bit more and the shadows a little deeper. Just a slight tweak.
- Resizing:Then I resized the image according to my wallpaper needs.
The Result
Honestly, it turned out better than I expected! I mean, it’s not professional-grade or anything, but for a quick five-minute job, I was pretty happy with it. It’s now my new phone wallpaper, and every time I look at it, it’s a fun little reminder of this spontaneous project.
It was a fun, low-stakes way to mess around with image editing. Maybe I’ll try something more ambitious next time, but for now, I’m enjoying my simple Yuji creation.
