Best Parking Near Barclays Center A Quick Guide for Affordable and Safe Spots

So, I had to go to an event at the Barclays Center the other day, and let me tell you, figuring out the parking situation was a bit of a headache. I mean, who wants to deal with parking stress before a fun event, right?

Best Parking Near Barclays Center A Quick Guide for Affordable and Safe Spots

First, I did a quick search online. Found a bunch of parking lots near the Barclays Center. There were names like Atlantic Center Garage, LAZ Parking, Ochre Car Park, and a few others. I also saw some mentions of iPark and SP+ Par, whatever those are. It looked like there were tons of options, which was good, but also kind of overwhelming.

The prices were all over the place! It said that parking could start at around $23, but it depended on the event and how close the lot was to the stadium. Makes sense, I guess. Obviously, the closer you are, the more you’re gonna pay. I even found some info suggesting that some seating sections inside the center should be avoided, which was a bit weird, but it’s not really related to parking, so I ignored it.

Then, I found something online about pre-booking a parking pass online. Sounded convenient, but I’m not always the best at planning ahead. There were also some mentions of an app called JustPark, apparently used by a lot of people, with options for parking on driveways and stuff. Interesting, but I decided not to use it.

After checking out all the options, I finally decided to try the Atlantic Center Garage. It seemed pretty close and the price was okay, I guess. I drove over there, and thankfully, I found a spot without too much trouble.

Here’s the thing:

Best Parking Near Barclays Center A Quick Guide for Affordable and Safe Spots
  • Parking near the Barclays Center isn’t cheap.
  • There are a lot of different garages and lots to choose from.
  • Prices change depending on the event and how close you are to the Center.
  • It’s probably a good idea to do some research ahead of time, unlike what I initially did.

In the end, I got to the event on time, and the parking situation, while not perfect, wasn’t a total disaster. But next time, I’ll definitely look into pre-booking or that JustPark app to see if I can save some time and maybe a few bucks. Or perhaps, I will use public transport to avoid all these parking hassles altogether.
