Getting Hyped & Prepared
Okay, so I found out Alejandra Dunn was doing a fan meet near me. Big fan, right? Freaked out a little. First thing I did? Hit the internet hard, searching where to get tickets. Man, those things vanished quicker than cookies in my house. Got lucky, snagged one early, felt like winning the lottery. Price? Yeah, crazy expensive, but what can you do?

Planning the Chaos
Meet was downtown. I hate downtown parking. Woke up at like 5am, stressed about traffic. Threw some stuff in a bag:
- My phone with a decent camera (hopefully).
- Her latest album… uh.. no idea what its name is.
- A sharpie pen, black, just in case.
- A sign I made the night before saying “Alejandra Rules!”
- Snacks, because queueing equals hunger.
Checked my ticket like ten times. Printed it out AND saved it on my phone. Trust issues, you know?
Showtime (Mostly Waiting Time)
Got there super early. Like, way too early. Stood around outside the venue for ages. Saw a few other people looking awkward too, figured they were fans. Made small talk – “When did you hear about it?” “What song’s your fav?” Blah blah.
Finally, they opened the doors. Felt the rush. Staff guided us inside. Had another line to wait in inside. Felt endless. They checked tickets and bags super carefully.
Then… sitting in a chair facing the stage. More waiting. Music playing. Heart beating way too fast. Was I sweating? Probably.

She Walks In!
Lights changed, little intro music. Boom, there she was! Alejandra Dunn! Smaller than I thought? Maybe? Smile was huge. Crowd went wild, me included. Yelling, clapping, the works. Felt unreal.
She talked for a bit. Super friendly. Asked how we were. Told us something silly about her morning – spilled coffee maybe? Hard to hear sometimes, people were loud.
The Main Event: Meet & Greet
Okay, then the line started moving towards her table. Practice smiling in my head. Get my album and sharpie ready. Legs felt shaky.
My turn! Walked up. Said something stupid like “Huge fan!” She smiled super big, said “Hi sweetie!” or something nice. Handed her the album. Told her my name for signing – worried she’d spell it wrong. She didn’t! Yay.
Asked if a pic was okay. She nodded, said “Sure!” Leaned in close. Tried not to blink. Staff took the pic real quick. Fumbled with my phone to check it quickly. Looked okay-ish, thank god.
Said “Thank you so much!” She said “Thank YOU for coming!” Felt amazing for a second. Then staff kinda ushered me out. Felt dizzy. Totally worth it, the money, the early wake-up, everything. That moment she smiled right at me? Unforgettable.
Aftermath & Reality Check
Walked out buzzing. Looked at my signed album like a million times. Sent the blurry pic to everyone I know instantly. Went straight home, ordered way too much takeout to celebrate.
Spent all night buzzing. Thought about quitting my job to follow her tour. Didn’t do it, obviously, ha! But man, seeing someone you admire that close? Powerful stuff. Honestly? Kinda ruined my sleep for like a week just replaying it all. Went back to my normal job feeling… kinda annoyed actually. Boss definitely noticed. Now I just daydream during meetings. Ugh.
