Okay, so I’ve been a huge boxing fan for years, and Ryan Garcia is one of those guys you just have to keep an eye on. Super fast, crazy power, and a massive following. I wanted to really dig into his fight record, not just the wins and losses, but the whole picture.

Getting Started

First, I grabbed a notebook and pen – yeah, I’m old school sometimes. I like to jot things down as I go. Then I opened my laptop and got ready to dive into the internet. My goal? To create my own detailed record of Garcia’s fights, from his very first pro bout to his most recent.

The Deep Dive

I started by searching for general info, just to get my bearings. I found some basic stuff, like his overall record, but I wanted more. I wanted dates, opponents, locations, the method of victory (KO, TKO, decision), and even the round it happened in.

It became a bit of an obsession. I was checking multiple boxing news sites, forums and any place that might hold the info I wanted.I spent hours piecing it all together.

Some fights were easy to find details on, especially the bigger ones. Others, especially his earlier fights, were tougher. I’d find one site with a date, another with the round, and maybe a third with a tiny mention of how the fight ended.

I kept adding to my notes, fight by fight. Name, date, location, result, method, round. Slowly, a complete picture started to form.

Putting It All Together

After I felt like I had everything, I started organizing. I decided to list it chronologically, from his pro debut in 2016 all the way up to now. It was cool to see it all laid out like that. You could really see the progression, the early KOs, the bigger and bigger stages he was fighting on.

I also made some notes about interesting things I noticed. Like, how many times he’s fought in California (a lot!), or how his knockout percentage has changed over time.

The Final Result

Honestly, it was way more work than I expected! But it was also really satisfying. Now I’ve got my own personal, detailed record of Ryan Garcia’s career. It’s not just a list of wins and losses; it’s a story of his rise in the boxing world. I can look back at any fight and remember the details, and it helps me appreciate his journey even more. I might even turn it into a proper spreadsheet sometime, but for now, my handwritten notes are perfect.
