Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this “laker line” thing, and I wanted to share my experience, ’cause it was kinda cool.
How I Started
First, I just wanted to draw a line, just a simple straight line. I used some basic drawing tools, nothing fancy, just what I had on hand.
The Process
I started by picking a starting point. I just eyeballed it, really. Then, I picked an ending point, trying to make it somewhat even with the start. I grabbed my drawing tool and connected the two points. Boom! A line. But it was kinda… boring.
So, I decided to spice it up. I thought, “What if I make it thicker?” So I went over the line again, and again, making it bolder. It looked better, more substantial.
Then I got this idea to add some color. I picked a nice, deep blue – reminded me of a lake, get it? “Laker” line? Anyway, I carefully colored the line, trying to stay within the… well, the line itself.
- First try: Just a plain line.
- Second try: Made it thicker.
- Third try: Added that sweet blue color.
My Result
It wasn’t perfect, not by a long shot. My hand’s not the steadiest, so the line was a little wobbly in places. But you know what? It was my wobbly line, and I liked it. It had character. Plus, it was kinda fun just messing around with colors and thicknesses.
It’s not rocket science, I know. But sometimes, it’s the simple things that are the most satisfying. Just drawing a line, making it your own. Give it a try sometime!
