Week 6 Quarterback Rankings: Top Starts and Sits!

Alright, so this week I decided to tackle the “week 6 quarterback” situation. I’ve been messing around with fantasy football for a while, and let me tell you, figuring out which quarterback to start each week can be a real headache.

Week 6 Quarterback Rankings: Top Starts and Sits!

First, I grabbed my laptop and opened up a bunch of browser tabs. You know, the usual suspects – ESPN, *, a few other fantasy football sites. I needed to see who was playing who, what the weather looked like, and if any of my guys were injured.

Then, I started digging into the stats. I’m not a numbers wizard or anything, but I like to look at recent performance. Like, how many touchdowns has a guy thrown in the last few games? Is he turning the ball over a lot? That kind of stuff.

  • Checked matchups: Some defenses are just tougher than others.
  • Looked at injury reports: Gotta make sure my quarterback isn’t playing with a bum shoulder.
  • Scanned recent game logs: See who’s hot and who’s not.

After I gathered all that info, I made a little spreadsheet. Yeah, I know, it sounds nerdy, but it helps me keep things straight. I listed out my quarterbacks, their opponents, their projected points, and any other notes I had.

This week, it was a tough call between two guys. One was playing a really tough defense, but he’d been on fire lately. The other had a much easier matchup, but he’d been a little inconsistent. I went back and forth in my head, trying to decide.

Finally, I just went with my gut. I picked the quarterback with the easier matchup, figuring he had a higher chance of putting up decent points. It wasn’t a super scientific decision, but sometimes you just gotta trust your instincts, right?

The Result?

Well, we’ll have to wait and see how it plays out this weekend. But that’s my process for figuring out the “week 6 quarterback” dilemma. It’s not perfect, but it’s what I’ve found works for me. Maybe it’ll give you some ideas for your own fantasy team. Good luck!
