Okay, so, I’ve been grinding away at Pal World lately, and I wanted to share my experience with shiny hunting. It’s been a wild ride, let me tell you.
First off, I started by just playing the game normally. I wasn’t even thinking about shinies at first. I was just catching Pals, exploring the world, building my base, you know, the usual stuff. But then, I stumbled upon my first shiny – a Lamball. It was completely by chance! I was so stoked, I almost fell out of my chair.
After that, I got hooked. I wanted more. So, I started doing some digging online, trying to figure out the best way to hunt for these rare Pals. Turns out, there wasn’t a ton of concrete info out there, but I pieced together a few strategies.
My Shiny Hunting Strategy
- Breeding: I spent hours and hours breeding Pals. I learned about the whole passing down traits thing. That got complicated, but the chance of hatching a shiny from an egg seemed higher than finding one in the wild. I mean, maybe it’s just in my head but I did it anyway!
- Mass Outbreaks: Then there are these things called mass outbreaks. Basically, a bunch of the same Pal spawns in one area. I figured this had to increase my odds, right? So I started chasing these outbreaks whenever they popped up on my map. It was hectic, but kind of fun.
- Just plain luck: Honestly, a lot of it just comes down to luck. I spent days running around, searching for shinies, and sometimes I’d find a couple, other times I’d come up empty-handed. It’s a real test of patience, that’s for sure.
After all that grinding, I’ve managed to snag a decent collection of shinies. I’ve got a shiny Cattiva, a shiny Lifmunk, and even a shiny Depresso, which, ironically, made me super happy. It is a really good feeling, you know?
