So, I’ve been thinking about getting a new ride, and I keep coming back to the Suzuki Burgman. I mean, I’ve heard a lot about it, but I wanted to see for myself what the fuss was all about.

How to choose a Burgsman? Tips for finding the right model for you!

I started by digging around online, you know, just to get a feel for the different models. There’s the Burgman 200, the 400, and the big boy, the 650. Each one seems to have its own perks. I even stumbled upon some forum discussions where people were debating which Burgman to buy, the best years for used ones, and what to look out for. It’s like a whole community of Burgman enthusiasts out there!

Then, I got to thinking about whether a Burgman would actually be good for long-distance trips. That’s something I enjoy doing, hitting the open road and just cruising for hours. So, I did some more digging and found some articles discussing the pros and cons of using a Burgman for that. It got me thinking about comfort, storage, and all those practical things.

Trying It Out

Of course, reading about it is one thing, but I had to try one out myself. I headed down to a local dealer and got to test-riding a Burgman 400. They had the 2025 model, which, let me tell you, looks pretty slick.

Hopping on, I immediately noticed how comfortable the seat was. It felt like I could sit on that thing for hours without getting sore. I took it for a spin around the block, and the engine felt smooth and responsive. It wasn’t super powerful, but it had enough oomph to get up to speed quickly. Weaving through traffic was a breeze, thanks to its nimble handling.

I also played around with some of the features. The under-seat storage is surprisingly spacious. I could easily fit my helmet, a jacket, and probably a few other things in there. There are also a couple of smaller compartments up front for things like your phone or wallet. Overall I think it is really a nice design.

My Thoughts

After the test ride, I felt pretty good about the Burgman 400. It seemed like a solid choice for both city commuting and longer trips. It’s comfortable, practical, and has enough power for most situations. Also its looking is not old, I would say it’s pretty nice.

  • Comfort: The seat is super comfy, and the riding position is relaxed.
  • Storage: Plenty of space under the seat and in the front compartments.
  • Handling: Nimble and easy to maneuver in traffic.
  • Power: Not a powerhouse, but enough for everyday riding.

Now, I haven’t made up my mind yet. I’m still considering other options, and I might even try out the Burgman 650 to see how it compares. But based on my experience so far, the Burgman 400 is definitely a strong contender. It’s a well-rounded scooter that seems to live up to the hype. And I enjoy riding it.

I thought I just share my experience of trying Suzuki Burgman, hope it helps if you are considering buying a scooter.
