Then, I found that I could just use an antenna to get the Rip City TV Network and watch the games over-the-air. That sounded pretty straightforward. I hooked up my antenna, and started searching for the channel, but I couldn’t find it.
After a bit of trial and error, I realized that maybe my old antenna wasn’t cutting it. So, I decided to upgrade to a better one. I went out, got a new antenna, hooked it up, and tried again. Still no luck! I was starting to get a little frustrated, I just wanted to watch my team play.
Then I remembered something called BlazerVision. This is the Trail Blazers’ own streaming service. I figured, why not give it a shot? I went to the official website and looked into it. The process seemed simple enough. I just needed to sign up.
I signed up for BlazerVision, which cost me around $120 for the season. There’s also a monthly option, but it’s not available in October. Once I was signed up, I could finally watch the games on my TV, my phone, or on my computer. It was pretty great to have that flexibility. I could stream the games live, or even watch replays later if I missed them.
So, in the end, I tried the old-school antenna route first, but ended up going with the streaming option through BlazerVision. It’s been working out pretty well. Now I can follow the Blazers wherever I am, as long as I have an internet connection. It’s a bit of a pain having to pay, but hey, it’s worth it to catch all the action.
