Alright folks, been messing around with this Rexroad and Associates setup lately. Honestly wasn’t sure what to expect at first, but here’s how it went down from scratch.

First Impressions and Sign-Up
Popped open their main page looking for the sign-up button – kinda buried honestly. Clicked around like crazy ’til I spotted the stupid tiny “Get Started” text. Filled in my email and basic junk, hit submit, and bam! Confirmation email took forever to land. Like, drank half my coffee waiting.
Fumbling Through the Setup
Finally got in and the dashboard looked… empty. Realized I needed to hook up my stuff first. Clicked “Add Account” and saw like twenty different options. Picked “Bank Sync” ’cause duh. Had to punch in my bank login details, felt sketchy but whatever. System just spun its wheels for a good five minutes – thought it broke already. Then suddenly, a green checkmark! Okay, progress.
Went to settings next ’cause things looked messy. Found the “Categories” tab and started grouping random charges:
- All coffee stops → Food & Drink
- Uber rides → Transportation
- Weird late-night impulse buys → don’t look at this
Stumbled Upon the Good Stuff
After wasting time manually tweaking stuff, accidentally clicked this “Smart Sort” toggle near reports. Holy crap! Started auto-filing receipts – saved me at least an hour of dragging receipts.
Another win: Found the goal tracker hiding in sidebar. Set a “Don’t Starve” budget for takeout. App straight-up blinked red warnings when I nearly ordered pizza yesterday. Felt like getting scolded by software.

Final Thoughts
After three stupid setup attempts? Actually works decent now. Takes some messing around to not hate it though. Protips nobody tells you:
- Skip that useless intro tour – waste of time.
- Turn on auto-tagging immediately – trust me.
- Link accounts BEFORE customizing anything.
It ain’t magic, but after swearing at it enough? Does the job. Might keep using it… or rage quit next month. We’ll see.
