So here’s how I tackled finding Mario Padilla and his stuff online yesterday. Gotta admit, I started pretty dumb.
The Wasted First Hour
First, I fired up Google. Just typed “Mario Padilla”. Boom, tons of results.
- So many actors, athletes, random guys with that name
- First page? Nothing looking like the guy I wanted
- Felt like searching for one specific fish in the whole ocean
Seriously frustrating. Kept scrolling pages, wasting time. Nothing clicked. Had to change tactics.
Switching to Stalking Mode
Decided to hunt where creators actually hang out.
- Jumped over to Twitter. Searched, but again – names everywhere
- Got smarter. Added keywords like “blog” or “content creator”
- Instagram – same mess. Pictures of dudes, but no clue
Started feeling like I was maybe chasing a ghost. Not ready to give up yet.
The Niche Saved Me
Remembered he was into specific stuff. Went straight to platforms built for those niches.
Dove into places where people actually talk about real work. Searched again. Scrolled profiles slower this time, looking for signs – his face maybe, topics I knew he covered.
Suddenly – BINGO. Found one profile picture that looked familiar. Checked the bio – yeah, matched the topics. Then found another profile on a different site with similar details. That sealed it.
Following the Trail
Clicked into the profiles. Hit “Follow” or “Subscribe” fast on each one.
- Looked at his posts on each platform
- Saw the kind of stuff he shares regularly
- Noticed which platforms had the deeper dives
Took way longer than it should have. Learned my lesson – ditch Google early. Go straight to his actual turf.
Why Bother Sharing This?
Why do I care? Personal experience, man. Back in 2020, totally burnt out trying to track down another creator with a common name. Hours wasted, ended up following a fake account for weeks. Felt like a total chump. Realized finding the right source matters. This ain’t about just clicks; it’s about finding the real person behind the noise before you waste your time.
