Alright, so today was all about getting that cop car sorted for Brad RP on No Pixel. Felt like such a hurdle, you know? Kept seeing folks zoom around in theirs, and I was stuck walking. Found this guide promising “easy steps”. Hah.
Started simple enough. Downloaded the files. Guide said “just put ’em in the right folder”. Sounds easy, right? Wrong. Dug around my mods folder, found the * thing. Copied the originals somewhere safe – learned that lesson after losing stuff before. Took me ages just to remember where the heck it was stored.
Dropped the new files into the spot the guide said. Okay, feeling hopeful. Launched the server game. Spawned in, excited. Typed the vehicle spawn command… car showed up. Looked okay! Jumped in, hit the lights. Siren screamed, lights flashed… but all over the car! Looked like a disco ball exploded. Not police-like at all.
Back to square one. Guide said “edit this meta file”. Opened it up. Pure gibberish to me, man. Numbers, weird names. Found the spot for light settings. Guide said “change these values to this”. Did it. Saved the file. Nervous reload. Spawned the car again.
This time? Lights seemed positioned better… mostly. Front looked decent. Turned on the siren… tail lights strobed purple? Purple! Who runs purple police lights? Felt like I was driving a rave. Guide offered zero help here. Guessed it must be the ELRS setting or something? Adjusted random numbers in the meta file again.

Backing up saved my skin. Changing random numbers in the meta file actually worked somehow? Luck, I guess. Not rocket science, just a massive hassle.
