It was less about “tracking his wife” and more about documenting how rumors spread online around private individuals. Started dumping screengrabs into folders instead of clean data rows. My project file looked like a digital conspiracy board.
The Ugly Realization
After wasting nearly three hours digging through this mess, it hit me hard. I became part of the problem. I set out to “track” something deeply personal to someone, something not meant for public consumption. It felt invasive and pointless. All that energy spent, just fueling my own (and potentially others’) nosiness. Felt kinda gross about it. Closed all the messy research tabs around noon.
