Alright, so the US Open was on. Couldn’t watch it all live, obviously. Too busy. But I really wanted to see some matches I’d missed. Peacock was supposed to be the place, right? They advertised it enough.

First Things First: Firing Up Peacock
So, I opened Peacock. Tried it on my TV first. Then on my laptop. Just to see. My mission was simple: find full match replays. Not just some flimsy highlights. I wanted the whole match, from the first serve to the handshake.
Went straight to the sports section. Found the US Open stuff. Clicked it. Lots of “watch live” options, schedules, that kind of thing. But actual replays of finished matches? That was the real hunt.
Here’s What I Dug Up
After clicking around for what felt like a while, this is what I figured out. There wasn’t some magic “US OPEN FULL MATCH REPLAYS” button. Nope. Too easy, I guess.
- I found some on-demand stuff for the US Open. Usually, this meant shorter, condensed versions of matches. Or maybe extended highlights.
- Full match replays? They were trickier. Sometimes I’d stumble upon one. But it wasn’t like a library you could just browse.
- Honestly, it felt like I had to really dig. It wasn’t obvious. And stuff from earlier in the tournament? Seemed like it got buried fast, or just vanished.
- Availability was all over the place. Some matches, yes. Others, no idea where they went. Or maybe they were only up for a day or two. Super frustrating, that bit. Classic sports streaming.
So, the Big Question: Replays or No Replays?
My experience? Yeah, you can find some replays, but don’t expect it to be a walk in the park. And don’t expect every single match to be there waiting for you. You’ve gotta be willing to search around in that Peacock app.
They really push the live games hard. Replays? Feels like they don’t care as much about making those easy to find. That’s how it seemed to me, anyway.

If you’re trying this yourself, here’s my advice:
- Look for the replay ASAP after the match ends. Don’t wait.
- Try searching for the players. Or the specific round.
- Keep an eye out for any “Replays” or “Catch Up” or “On Demand” labels within the US Open section on Peacock.
It’s not perfect. Far from it. But I did manage to watch a couple of things I wanted to see. Just had to be patient. And lower my expectations a bit about finding everything. That’s just my take after trying it out.
