How It All Started

Getting Our Hands Dirty

We also had to think about all the privacy implications. That was a big one. We didn’t want to be creepy. So, we spent a lot of time reading up on best practices and trying to build in user control from the get-go. Transparency was key, we decided.
What Happened in the End?
So, did the Moonlight Cookie Team revolutionize the internet with our cookie creation? Nah, not really. What we built was a neat little system, and parts of it actually got integrated into the main platform later on, in a much more polished form. The “team” itself kinda dissolved naturally as people moved on to other projects or just got busy with their main roles.
But it was a fantastic learning experience. We proved that a small, dedicated group, even working in their spare time, could actually build something tangible. I learned a ton about browser quirks, state management, and the importance of just trying things out. Plus, it was fun. It felt like we were in our own little startup, fueled by passion and too much caffeine. And that, I guess, was the real treat.
