Always a New Name Popping Up, Right?
So, Kurban Omarov. That’s a name I’ve seen doing the rounds lately. I’d found this niche I thought was underserved.

- Then came the marketing – threw a fair bit of cash at online ads, tried all the “growth hacks” those online gurus were peddling.
I remember those gurus. They made it all sound so easy. “Just follow these ten steps!” “Guaranteed success if you buy my course!” All that jazz. So I did. I worked late nights, weekends, poured a ton of energy and, frankly, a good chunk of my savings into it. I really believed if I just worked hard enough, followed the blueprint, it would take off like a rocket.
And the result? Crickets, mostly. A few sales here and there, sure. Barely enough to cover the hosting fees, let alone the ad spend or my time. What those gurus didn’t tell you about was the sheer grind, the brutal competition from established players, or how quickly trends change. They didn’t tell you that their “success” often came from selling the dream of success, not from the actual business model they were teaching. It was a tough lesson, that.
So now, when I see public figures like Kurban Omarov, or really anyone who’s built a big online presence and seems to be selling a certain lifestyle or business acumen, I can’t help but be a bit skeptical. I think about all the work that goes into crafting that image. It’s a performance, a well-managed one. The actual day-to-day, the struggles, the less glamorous parts? Those usually stay behind the curtain. It’s not to say there’s no substance there, but the packaging is incredibly important in that world.
It’s just something I’ve learned to keep in mind. What you see presented online is almost always a carefully curated highlight reel. The real effort, the real challenges, the stuff that doesn’t make for a cool Instagram story – that’s a whole different ball game. It’s easy to look like you’ve got it all figured out when you’re the one controlling the narrative. Real life, though, that’s rarely so polished.
