Okay, so I’ve been obsessed with the Ford GT, especially the 2004 model, for like, ever. I finally decided to dive deep and create something cool with it. I’m not a mechanic or anything, but I love messing around with 3D models and stuff.

First, I spent hours just looking at pictures and videos of the ’04 GT. I mean, every angle, every detail. I wanted to get a real feel for the car, you know? Not just the overall shape, but the little things – the vents, the curves, the way the light hits the body. I created a whole folder on my desktop just crammed with reference images.
Then came the hard part – finding a good 3D model. I didn’t want some cheap, low-quality thing. I scoured the internet, checking out different forums and websites. I even joined a couple of car enthusiast groups online to see if anyone had any recommendations. It took a while, but I finally found one that looked pretty decent. It wasn’t perfect, but it was a good starting point.
My Build process
Now, time to download the model. After I downloaded it, I needed to figure out the program for opening it. I’m still learning all this, after trail and error for serval hours, I finally did it!
- Importing the model. I figured it out, after I dragged and dropped the file.
- Checking for issues. Yup, there some bugs, but I fixed it.
- Start working! I finally can start working with the 3D model!
I am now in the middle of texturing the car, and I am making good progress. This is my personal project, and I believe with enough dedication, I will finish it for sure.
It’s been a fun ride so far, even with the frustrations. I’m learning a ton, and it’s awesome to see this iconic car taking shape on my computer screen. I’m not sure what I’ll do with the finished model, maybe just make some cool renders or something. But for now, I’m just enjoying the process.
